PVC Insulated, PVC Sheathed Cable With Circuit Protective Conductor (CPC)
Single core 6241Y, Flat Twin 6242Y & Flat 3-core 6243Y, 300/500V, 70 °C
Application
These cables are suitable for fixed installation in dry or damp premises on walls, boards or trays,
in channels or embedded in plaster. They should be laid in conduit or trunking where mechanical
protection is required.

Conductor: annealed copper conductor, according to IEC 60228 Class 1&2
Insulation: PVC
Color for core identification as below
Single core: brown or blue
Twin: brown and blue, or for 2×1.0 and 2×1.5 cables, brown and brown
3-core: brown, black (center core) and grey
Position of CPC
Twin: centraly placed between cores in same plane
3-core: centraly placed between black ad grey bcores in same plane
Sheath: PVC
Color of sheath: grey, black or upon request
